Nature Does Not Need a Barcode

Kauf beim Bauern („Buy at the farmer’s market“) was a university project for the product management course. The task was to design a marketing campaign around fresh products.

The goal of our campaign was to support local farmers and revitalize their businesses. Our idea was, to convince locals to buy their fresh groceries directly from the farmer’s market again. The slogan “Nature does not need a barcode” aims to point out the advantages of buying fresh and biological products. People do not have to read the fine print on each product or google the ingredients (eg. milk). Additionally one does not have to wonder where the product comes from or if it was genetically modified. During the project, we worked together with farmers from “Gutes vom Bauernhof”, who allowed us to use their logo for our marketing campaign drafts.
